Inside Meditation

Why the Mind Wanders — and What to Do About It

Meditation is often misunderstood as “trying to stop thinking.”But what actually happens when we meditate? Why does the mind wander so quickly? And how do we train attention without fighting our thoughts?

Inside Meditation is a practical, beginner-friendly exploration of attention, awareness, mind wandering, and the mechanics of meditation. Through relatable examples, group discussion, and direct meditation practice, participants learn how to train and strengthen attention, reduce mind wandering, cultivate awareness, and develop the skills to meditate more independently and confidently.

Especially valuable for newer yoga teachers seeking greater confidence in understanding and teaching meditation. No prior meditation experience required. All minds are welcome!
