This weekend immersion of yoga nidra is for anyone who wants to experience more space, time, and ease in their day-to-day lives through the experience of deep and profound rest. Teachings on how to master life's stresses will reset both body and mind, returning you to your own deep presence and a sense of wholeness, vitality, and ease, allowing you to live your life to the fullest!
Yoga Nidra is an ancient sleep-based meditation technique that rides on the biology of the body to enter subtle states of being. Here the mind-chatter is cleared and the body has the opportunity to deeply regenerate and restore itself from the inside out. Receive the many benefits of meditation and mindfulness, all while lying down.
Yogis say that 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra is as restorative as 3 hours of sleep. In sleep, you wake up rested, but in Yoga Nidra you learn to enter the gap between you and your thoughts. Here, you can train yourself to develop a healthy relationship with the thoughts, emotions and dramas of life, developing an ability to remain peaceful and calm amidst the chaos of life.
Immersion weekends typical schedule:
Fri 13th: 7:30-9:30pm
Sat 14th: 10:30-5:00pm
Sun 15th: 10:30-5:00pm
The first weekend is open to all and includes the experience of this powerful healing practice multiple times, as well as lecture and discussion of how and why Yoga Nidra works to relieve stress and deeply held tensions, allowing healing at multiple levels.

Sat 28th: 10:30-5:00pm
Sun 29th: 10:30-5:00pm
During the Basic Yoga Nidra Certification weekend, you will receive guidance on how to effectively and powerfully lead basic Yoga Nidra sessions to your students, clients, or loved ones. This second weekend is also a powerful way to deepen your own practice and understandings of yoga or yoga nidra.
Yoga Nidra training is excellent for yoga students and teachers, counselors and therapists, body workers, health care professionals, and anyone who wants to make a positive impact on others. You will receive three scripts: Stress and Relaxation, Health and Healing, and Self-Acceptance and Wholeness. Each script will have a list of intentions specially designed to help you guide others into this deep regenerating state where the body can experience profound relaxation, health and wholeness.
This second weekend will also include teachings designed to deepen your own self-acceptance and confidence. You will create your own intention and learn how to use intention in leading Yoga Nidra sessions. You will personally uncover habits and ways of thinking that may have been holding you back, allowing you to move forward more fully confident and engaged in life!
CEUs are available for Yoga Alliance requirements. Both weekends must be attended in full to receive certification. This training also qualifies you for further training in the Amrit Method of Yoga Nidra.
