YIN WITH SOUND
Yin yoga (for strong bones and long lean muscles) is a practice done with 'cold muscles'...meaning we don't warm the muscles, but we go gently into deep passive stretches, which affects the connective tissue nearer to the bones. Remaining in these deep releasing asanas for three to five minutes, as we focus on slow calm breathing and presence in the body. Simultaneous to the long holds, singing bowls, chimes, gongs, rattles and various other ceremonial music will be used to accentuate the experience and encourage release. Strengthen the bones, lengthen the muscles and nourish your soul with healing sound.
