Mindfulness Yoga & Meditation
Mindfulness yoga blends the traditional mindfulness teachings of awareness and breath with the physical practice of yoga--with less focus on exact posture and more focus on feeling into the present moment. This deep sense of awareness and self-compassion prepares us for savasana and a brief meditation period at the end of class. We gain a new sense of personal freedom and ease on and off the mat.
Suitable for all levels, with modifications, props and variations offered as needed.
The only prerequisite is the ability to go down and come up from the floor.
