Kimberly McCann, PhD, RYT
She is present, attentive, and adaptable.
Her teaching style is alignment-focused, fluid, and breath-focused. She works to meet students where they are in the moment by drawing attention to subtle body movements and breath awareness.
Her personal practice is informed by Ashtanga, Kundalini, and Buddhist meditation principles.
She started her yoga journey in the 1980’s and has been teaching since 2003.
She was introduced to asana as a ‘cool down’ from her martial arts practice and in 2001 became a devotee of Ashtanga Yoga. Over the past decade, her focus has shifted from a yang-based power yoga practice to a more balanced integration of yin-based restorative and slow flow vinyasa informed by kundalini and meditation.
