She makes sure you step off your mat feeling refreshed, uplifted and balanced.
Her teaching style is traditional, breath-directed, strengthening, and enlivening. Balanced by compassion and experience, her classes provide students with a deeper focus on awareness of the body and mind. She also teaches Meditation, Gentle and Restorative yoga, Chair yoga, and Yoga Nidra.
Her personal practice is informed by the classic Hatha Yoga tradition with Swami Satchidananda. She continues to practice with her teachers and to explore the depths, breadths and heights of possibility in yoga.
She started her yoga journey over 40 years ago and has been teaching ever since.
She is a creative teacher, combining reverence and playfulness in a way that honors the body and satisfies the heart. She knows that if you want to discover the connection between mind, body, breath, and spirit and become a truly happy, focused person, yoga is a joyous path--on and off the mat.
