The intention is to move the body in many different directions. The goal is to reduce stress, toxins and the unnecessary energy that has built up in the body over time. Together we stretch, twist and breathe our way to a better place! For those who have “dabbled” in yoga in the past and want to seek out more of what yoga can offer, this class is for YOU!
Anyone at any level will get something out of every class, but it is helpful if you have had some yoga experience. Some poses will be done in almost every class, as they involve core strengthening, increasing balance and purposeful, long-muscle stretching. These are poses that lay the foundation. The rest of the postures will focus on a particular area of the body (i.e. back, hips, shoulders etc.).
