Angela (Dharma) Fears, RYT-500
She is a family historian and loves connecting the land and history. Her teaching style is purposeful and powerful. She leads a breath centered class, incorporating alignment of body and breath in the moment. Her All-Levels and Yin classes include a warm-up flow and a complete practice with appropriate levels of back bends and inversions for everyone. Her personal practice is informed by Ayurveda and Bhakti. Since receiving her certificate from the Santosha School of Yoga, she has continued to study, focusing on using Ayurvedic and Heart/Mind Awareness principles to create a holistic practice. When she is not teaching yoga, she is featured regularly on percussion and vocals by the Band of Now. Dharma started her yoga journey in 1998 and began teaching in 2015. She appreciates the universal aspect of yoga and the healing arts, and she specializes in Ayurvedic wellness applications. She creates an inviting space for all to discover their own yoga and for individuals to breath on their mat and to unwind consciously. She is inspired by knowing that yoga is for every season of the year and for every season of life. |
