Beginner Yoga - These classes are perfect for beginners or those who want a pace which allows time for the student to learn breath and alignment within movement. Classes include standing postures for developing strength in the foundation, openness in the hips and hamstrings, balancing, seated postures and floor work.
Gentle/Restorative - Gentle movements guided by breath bring freedom in the joints and prepare the body and mind for the stillness and restful restorative poses (complete relaxation with props placed under the body to allow a sense of ‘letting go’).
Gentle Yoga & Guided Meditation (Yoga Nidra) – Prepare the body with gentle breath-centered movement, in order to deeply relax and let-go into a soothing resting pose while being guided into relaxation. Yoga Nidra (called sleep of the yogi’s) works through the conscious, sub-conscious and unconscious to release subtle long-held energy blocks from the entire being, leaving one more clear and open. Consistency is the key.
Yoga for 60′s Plus - Perfectly paced and designed for the Baby-Boomer body. Gentle joint releasing and gentle stretching; may be from a chair, or with assistance of the wall. Deepen your breath, increase your energy and stamina as you stretch and move your body.
Prenatal Yoga - Catered specifically for the pregnant woman (who is past their 12th week). These classes empower and prepare women for labor and birth through the practice of postures and breathing while developing strength and a deeper connection to their baby. Support persons are welcome to attend too.
Slow Flow/Stretch - Flowing in and out of each movement (enveloped in breath) becomes a powerful form of meditation and releases tight muscles. This class is slower paced than the Vinyasa Flow class, with time for an additional breath in any Sun Salutations, more seated and floor poses.
Yin Yoga – Passive postures which produce a deep stretch are held for 3-7 minutes each, allowing a release in the connective tissue, providing the possibility for the muscles to ‘let go’. A yummy cooling practice. Good for most any level student.
Vinyasa Flow - A strong class linking postures with movement and breath. The practice of alignment principles and multiple Sun Salutations along with a wide variety of asana to open and free the whole body. Standing poses, back-bends, arm balances and floor work may be included, at your level.
All Level – Enjoy a blend of postures with focus on breath and alignment in which variations/modifications are offered for varied levels of students. May include Sun Salutations of sorts, standing, balancing, seated postures and floor work.
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga – Based on Pattabhi Jois’s Primary Series, this class includes multiple Sun Salutations and the linking of postures with breath in what feels like a full body ‘workout’. Focus is on yogic breathing and mindfulness blended within a wide array of poses which include standing, seated, back-bends, and possibly inversions. (not for the faint-of-heart
Kids Yoga & Art* - Share with your children (4 years old and up) the many calming, focusing and other health benefits of yoga. They will move through a playful selection of poses, share their favorite pose with the class, rest in Savasana while listening to a yoga story, and finish with a simple craft. These classes are alongside adult classes so the whole family can come!
*Kids yoga classes are $5 when parent attends class next door, $10 when child is dropped off.
Family & Kids Yoga – (suggested for ages 3-4 and up) - The whole family can practice together! Parents and kids will move through kid friendly postures and breathing techniques to calm, to balance, to strengthen and to have fun! Adults pay $8 cash each; kids pay $6 cash each.
Community Yoga** - These classes are generally taught by newly graduated Yoga Teachers who wish to hone their skills and find their voice and niche in teaching. Often taught by quite seasoned teachers who wish to ‘give back’ by volunteering for this class. **Community classes are By Love Offering of your choice and come-and-go on the schedule.
Bhakti Yoga – Chanting with Community — Just as it states: come and sing and chant the Holy names. A great Heart-opening soul-stirring practice and a great place to connect with your local yoga community. $ By Love Offering

Pranic Healing with Cassandra ‘Ma’ Nischala Kalyani
Pranic Healing® is a highly evolved and tested system of energy medicine developed by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui that utilizes prana to balance, harmonize and transform the body’s energy processes. Prana is a Sanskrit word that means life-force. This invisible bio-energy or vital energy keeps the body alive and maintains a state of good health. In acupuncture, the Chinese refer to this subtle energy as Chi. It is also called Ruach or the Breath of Life in Hebrew.
Pranic Healing® is a simple yet powerful & effective system of no-touch energy healing. It is based on the fundamental principles that the body is a self-repairing living entity that possesses the ability to heal itself and that the healing process is accelerated by increasing this life force that is readily available from the sun, air and ground to address physical & emotional imbalances. Master Choa Kok Sui says “Life Energy or prana is all around us. It is pervasive; we are actually in an ocean of Life Energy. Based on this principle, a healer can draw in Pranic Energy or Life Energy from the surroundings.”
